• this was the last practice session and it went pretty poorly , mostly a combination of dull burrs and a bad putty key, these really have to be fixed!
  • some notes
    • get sharp burrs
    • make sure the putty key extends to past the third molar
      • this give it stability , especially for reduction guide
      • put the other side of the key on the border of the model for easy placement
    • what out for mesial tilt, this has been a problem twice in this prep so far
      • last time was light but still existed
    • Make sure to reduce enough for the occlusal reduction, use the key and adjacent structure as guide
    • remember to smoothen the sharp line angles
    • what out for the distolingual on both teeth, this area tends to be pretty undercut
    • use the tapered burr to finish the occlusal but the flat fissure should be used to keep the anatomy
    • Make sure ot taper the functional cusp bevel enough (flatter than you think )
    • make sure for the occlusal third of the cuspal reductoin that its reduced enough
