Posterior teeth occluded by at least 2 mm by leaf gauge during bite registratoin
Requested lab to construct dual laminate maxillary occlusal stabilisation splint using the records provided for this patient. Michiginan splint indicated and patient is already comfortable with a maxillary splint.

Patient is happy with the splint
POIG:
- clean with soap and water / can use denture cleaning tablets do not use tooth paste as it is abrasive
- leave out of sunlight and in a dry enviroment when not using
- Do not clean with boiling water
Pt advised if it becomes very painful or uncomfortable to wear - to call up and visit emergency to have adjustments done
