  • LHS bitewing

  • Dental age 4 - 5

    • Permanent 6’s are past the bony crypt thus will erupt in about a year
  • Caries

    • 63: non carious , probably fracture from trauma
    • 65 : dentine bridge between pulp and radiolucnecy
    • 75: occlusal caries
  • Management

    • 63: composite strip crown
    • 65: Hall crown
    • 75: Hall crown
      • first one to be hall crowned
    • 74: hall crown
    • High caries risk

Traditional Crown Preps

Can complete in 2 appointments , it does require local anesthetic and a cooperative patient

can’t put hall crowns on in the same quadrant in the same appointment as there isn’t enough spacing even if you put separators

  • also can’t put them on opposing quadrants as it opens the bite too big
