Denture doesn’t fit
- you NEED to know the actual reason, if you didn’t find out the reason then you can’t just put a solution
- for example if it was made 1 year ago, then theres no pint in relining because you don’t have any resorbed ridge
Can’t eat with it
- if past neutral zone/vibrating line then when movements happen it will lose suctoin

Bone resorption
- if patient spent a while without dentures the nridges will be loose
- You can deal with a fibrous ridge
- Combination Syndrome :
- lower teeth , no upper teeth ; lower teeth bit on upper ridge, so it becomes fibrous
Tongue Atrophy
- if it goes a while without use, it will become “flabby”
